Gaming is my hobby.  I work, spend time with friends and family, and I game.  It’s what I do, it’s what I read about, it’s what I love.  My fondest memory as a child was receiving a TV and an 8-bit NES for my 7th birthday.  On that day, the gaming nerd you know today was born.  I can chronicle my life by the cycle of systems I own.  It started with the NES, moved onto the Sega Genesis, then the battle of Playstation and Dreamcast superiority, the Playstation 2 juggernaut, the Playstation 3 mean machine, then purely for online multiplayer, Xbox360.  I’m not only a console gamer, but have played numerous PC games from first person shooters to MMORPG’s.  The funny thing about gaming is, I’m not even really that good at it.  I’ve been playing for years but still struggle with plenty of games.  I guess that’s what makes video games so appealing, the fact that they’re ever changing, become better, bigger, prettier, more challenging.  The video game industry is stronger than it’s ever been, and it’s only going to grow larger and expand to broader audiences.  So bow down to your gaming overlords.
